MOMAX PILATES® TRAINER MATWORK AND/OR REFORMER
The training concept of MOMAX PILATES® pursues three central goals: strengthening, stretching, and mastering the body. It is based on a three-dimensional movement model: every movement sequence in training is not only taught in one direction, but also in the opposite direction as well as in its horizontal and vertical dynamics – a decisive increase in the effectiveness of the exercises. In line with the respective training goals, a differentiated performance evaluation is also applied. To achieve relaxation of hardened fascia and tense or painful muscles, MOMAX PILATES® uses the principle of trigger points for muscle function in specific exercises.
From mobilizing and stabilizing deep effects on the entire body to targeted flexibility and strengthening of individual muscle groups, the spectrum of Pilates training is wide: strength and coordination, mobility and balance – the training effect is truly comprehensive. It has also proven to be exceptionally effective in rehabilitation training, for example after joint or muscle injuries or for back pain, with special exercises for the lumbar spine or intervertebral discs.
Each module of the MOMAX PILATES® Trainer courses Matwork and/or Reformer (five two-day modules each) places equal emphasis on theory and practice, ensuring profound personal experience of the training content. Consistent practical relevance is a key element of the training concept of the MOMAX PILATES® Trainer Academy: in addition to special didactic focuses, ranging from group dynamics to communication and speaking exercises, participants are gradually introduced to leading training sessions from the third module onwards. Under guidance, they gain their first practical experience and build confidence in training instruction. In this way, the MOMAX PILATES® Trainer Academy provides its graduates with a clear path to translate theoretical knowledge into practical skills.
